2. Service Description

FieldWorks is a platform that connects property owners with professional landscaping service providers. We facilitate quotes, scheduling, payments, and communication between customers and service providers.

FieldWorks acts as an intermediary and is not directly responsible for the quality or completion of landscaping services performed by third-party providers.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use FieldWorks
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Payment Terms

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Payment policies (deposit, full upfront, or Net 30) are determined by the service provider
  • FieldWorks charges a platform fee on transactions (disclosed at time of payment)
  • All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated

5. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policies vary by service provider and payment type:

  • Before service starts: Cancellations may be subject to the provider's deposit refund policy
  • After service starts: Partial refunds may be available at provider's discretion
  • No-show: Full payment may be charged if customer is not available at scheduled time

Please review the specific cancellation terms in your quote before accepting.

6. Service Provider Obligations

Landscaping companies using FieldWorks agree to:

  • Provide accurate service descriptions and pricing
  • Complete work according to accepted quotes
  • Maintain appropriate licenses and insurance
  • Communicate professionally with customers
  • Honor their stated refund and cancellation policies

7. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with a service provider regarding work quality or payment, please contact us at support@fieldworks.app. We will work with both parties to reach a fair resolution.

8. Limitation of Liability

FieldWorks provides a platform connecting customers and service providers. We are not liable for:

  • Quality of work performed by service providers
  • Property damage caused by service providers
  • Injuries or accidents occurring during service
  • Disputes between customers and service providers

All service providers are independent contractors and are responsible for their own insurance and liability.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Continued use of FieldWorks after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
