No monthly subscription or lead fee. FieldWorks keeps 10% of a successful online payment, or 5% only while an approved organization promotion is active. New companies are not automatically eligible. Square processing is separate.

The customer opens the amount due in the service business's connected Square checkout. Availability and payment methods depend on Square and the connected seller account's eligibility.

Successful online payment
FieldWorks securely confirms the payment with Square before updating payment status and receiving its platform fee.
FieldWorks fee applies
Returning to FieldWorks, a failed payment, or a dismissed checkout is not proof of payment. FieldWorks waits for secure confirmation from Square.
The standard rate is 10%.
An approved active organization promotion can reduce the FieldWorks fee to 5%. Your business account shows the rate that applies.
The 5% rate applies only while an approved organization promotion shown in the business account is active. A promotion can come through a qualifying referral, a founder-led pilot, or another manual approval; creating a company does not automatically qualify it. Otherwise, the standard 10% rate applies.

Both balances are before Square processing fees. The actual seller payout also reflects the processing fee Square sets and charges separately.
One payment. Three clearly separated roles.
The customer pays the service business through Square-hosted checkout. FieldWorks never presents its fee as a customer surcharge or bundles Square processing into its rate.
Each business completes payment setup
Business signup and draft work remain available while online payment setup is incomplete. Checkout turns on after the required Square setup and checkout-safety checks pass.

- Coordinates checkout, receives the applicable platform fee, and updates payment status only after secure confirmation from Square.
